KISSIMMEE, FL — The rodeo rides into town on Oct. 6-8 as the 118th Silver Spurs Rodeo opens its doors to its champions for the weekend. Sixty of the sport's top cowpokes will compete for $100,000 in prize money in events like barrel racing, bull riding and mutton bustin'. The rodeo, the largest east of the Mississippi River, takes place in the indoor, 56-year-old Silver Spur Arena, which happens to be covered with 1,400 cubic yards of dirt. For more information, visit
